There is no age limit for joining the Oddfellows Guernsey Health Care Plan.

A child living with parents who are members are covered at a reduced subscription rate until age 18.
Cover is also available for a child when a parent does not wish to join.

You can select any of the Plans 1 to 6.

As an example, if the parent has cover under Plan 3, your child will receive this cover but pay only for the Medical Plan.

You can pay monthly or for any period in advance up to the end of the calendar year. Payment is preferred to be paid by monthly standing order.

Medical practices and the Emergency Department charge us directly, so you don't pay them yourself, except for children where the Emergency Department would like you to pay at the time and please forward us the invoice and we will refund you. Charges for dental / optical and physiotherapy are paid by you, and occasionally ED, and subsequently refunded up to the limit of the Plan.

A detailed invoice from the treatment provider should be submitted to our office so that we can pay the benefit due to you.

Yes, all benefits commence immediately as soon as the first 2 months upfront contributions have been paid. Cover may be increased or decreased under the Additional Plans once a year.
